The Polka Stampede 2015

A lively crowd attended the event which was held Sunday March 8th at Polish Hall in Madison, IL.  Mike Wisneski's Polka Connection Band provided the entertainment.  Her are some of our dancers that attended the event.
Peggy and Roger Brown
Anne Bailey and Mike Wallendorf
Peggy and Roger Brown - are the winners of the "I came the farthest" group.  They live in Rolla, MO and traveled  over 100 miles to attend the event. Contra Dancers Anne Bailey and Mike Wallendorf decided to try out the Polka Stampede for the first time.  We hope they will continue to support club events.
Dancin' Donna and Bill Schaeffer Judy and Bob Kult
Dancin' Donna and Bill Schaeffer pose near the inflatable boots which were donated to the club to help earn a little extra money for the club.  Judy and Bob Kult provided the food at the "Polish Hall Corrale" and scoot out on the dance floor every time they can.
Shirley and Frank Langenhorst Theresa Jordan and Nathan Haas
Shirley and Frank Langenhorst always dress up for the fun.  Shirley is wearing the club officer hats of corresponding secretary and treasurer.   Theresa Jordan takes a dance with Nathan Haas, both in their western attire.
Enedina and Don Clark Barbara and Michael Bergmire
Enedina and Don Clark always have the best match in clothing.  Enedina is quite a proficient seamstress in addition to being a great dancer. Former officers Barbara and Michael Bergmire strike a fitting pose for the picture.  Both Barbara and Michael are currently taking button box accordion lessons, and hope to play with the Button Box band as their skills mature.

Helen Rademacher and Joe Kuc take a spin on the dance floor.  Joe is currently the Sargent of Arms for the club. Claire and Ron Andracsek, former club officers continue to help the club in staffing the door and collecting admission.
