The St. Louis Ragtime and Vintage Dance Society
Second Sundays (Except August)

An elegant evening of waltz, tango, polka and ragtime dances to the beautiful music of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Lesson from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Dancing from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Live music by Halcyon Light Orchestra at the Monday Club, 37 S. Maple, Webster Groves, $10.00 per person. No partner required. Period attire or dressy contemporary attire. All ages and levels of dance experience welcome.

Tango and Salsa for the Senses

St Louis Milonga's / Dances
Sundays

Dancing every Sunday at the Soulard Coffee Garden from 6 to 9 pm, begining with an introduction to Tango class from 6 to 6:30 pm. Tango, Salsa and swing dancing until closing! $5 cover.
Dancing every third Saturday at The Monday Club (in Webster) from 6 to 11 pm, begining with an introduction to Tango from 6 to 7 pm. Tango Salsa and swing dancing until 11 pm. Beverages and a coffee and desert bar included. $10 cover, $5 with student ID.

Tango Argentino of Washington University

Learn the art of the Tango in the romantic embrace with Estella & Randy, certified instructors, at Washington University. Capture it's romance in two courses being offered; Introduction to Tango 6:30-8:00 p.m., and Intermediate Tango 5:00-6:30 p.m., which are 15 week credit course on Tuesdays with the highest level of training. This is an intense course aimed at the serious learner. In addition a Swing/Latin dance course is also offered on Thursdays.

Free monthly tango dances at Umrath Lounge (behind Edison Theatre) at Washington University. 7:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. Special performances at 9:00 p.m. Tango lessons at 9:15 p.m. Saturday classes 2 - 3:30 p.m. in Rutledge Studio. All events open to the public.

The Royal Lancers Vintage Dance Troupe
First & Third Fridays

Vintage dance troupe specializing in dancing from 1830 - 1865, dance figures, ballroom etiquette and social graces for use at Civil War re-enactments, upcoming balls and living history events. Beginning dancers welcomed and no partner needed. Meets 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. at St. Louis Christian College, in President's Hall, downstairs, 1360 Grandview Dr., Florissant - across I-270 from Flo Valley Community College. St. Louis Casa Loma Ballroom, with the biggest and best dance floor in St. Louis, offers live music for dancing with free ballroom dance lessons on Friday nights 8:00-9:00 pm, and dancing until Midnight.
